i’m sure you all are wondering what my life looks like now that i’m on the race.

let me tell you.

the first day, i began praying that God would ring me out so that i would be available to soak up all that he has in store. boy, does he have so much in store. he truly has rung me out in a way i didn’t know was possible, but in a way that i knew i needed. it isn’t easy. it isn’t sunshine & rainbows & good smells; but it does make the glimpses of those so much sweeter.

what does my day look like?

we have been sleeping in our tents every night. if you live anywhere close to GA (i’m sure a lot of you do), you know how extremely hot & humid it is. as someone who values sleep, it has been new to sleep outside, soaking wet from sweat, & under a pecan tree. but 4 nights in & im already sleeping as good as needed. the Lord has been grateful with the level of rest! i have been waking up around 5:45am naturally pretty much every morning which is super cool cause i am a morning person. i take this time before breakfast to talk to God & have been working on denying myself to say yes to all God has waiting for me. we eat breakfast at 8am! it has been so, so yummy. we do different things pretty much everyday in between breakfast & lunch. lunch is always at 12 & again so, so good! bless our cooks!!! then we typically do some form of team time. right now my squad is split in half, for covid purposes. CANT WAIT TO SEE THE REST OF YALL!! then we have dinner at 5:30 & then have been having secessions at 6:30. they have been so intriguing & impactful & we’ve only had a few! sometimes we do worship in our free time & it has always been so rewarding. the presence of the Holy Spirit is so very tangible in these moments.

 i also wanted to point out that we have $724 left to raise! is that not amazing? God is so stinking good. if you felt led to hot that donate button or venmo me, it would be so appreciated!

to all of you who have prayed & who continue to pray, THANK YOU! they have done & meant so much. we commonly say here on d squad that we are in the Lords favor & i truly believe all you4 prayers have impacted that! he is a good, good father & i can’t wait to continually step into what he has in store. LOVE YOU GUYS BIG TIME

  2. Kaylin, was hoping to hear about you. We have family that live in Ga…glad you are sleeping well. Still praying for you! Your ole friend, Brenda

  3. Being a morning person sure has it’s benefits, glad you are using that time to sit with the Lord. Made me laugh, “sunshine & rainbows & good smells”, it’s definitely not, but you’re grateful for rest, good cooks, free time, worship and favor from the Lord. As you said, He is a good Father and too looking for what He has in store.
