1. toilets, long & hot showers, no roots in your ribs while sleeping, & washing machines are HUGE pleasures.

2. bugs are neighbors.

3.“home” is found in Jesus & community, not in a physical house (or tent). 

4. there are no such things as good smells. 

5. georgia weather is the most inconsistent.

6. you can get by only wearing a rotation of 5 shirts & 4 pants. 

7. church led by 17-20 year olds is actually the best. 

8. worship is on a different level of free. 

9. you can survive sleeping outside, in a tent, rain or shine!  

 

while some of these are more humorous than others, i want to say i love every second of living here, even the hard ones. this place & community has given me a whole new perspective. i can’t wait to do ministry full time with these people! let me know what more you want to know!
